1970s
Established in the 1970’s as an industry service shop with emphasis on the repair of water injection pumps.
1982
Initiated repair of gas turbine, centrifugal gas compressors, high-speed equipment.
1983
With new ownership in 1983, the company name was changed to GLM Corp.
1986
A new 8,000 square foot facility was built. Moved into full skid restoration.
1996
Present owner purchased GLM, first CNC equipment purchased, upgraded balancing equipment.
1997-2001
Equipment purchases: CNC lathe, 4-axis mill, manual machines upgrade.
2001
Became NB certified for the repair and testing of relief valves.
2002
Expanded facilities adding 9,600 square feet and a 20-ton beam crane.
2005
Replaced the manual lathes, retiring the older equipment.
2008
Expanded facilities adding another 9,000 square feet to house equipment purchases (Mazak 5-axis milling center, Mazak QT 450 CNC lathe, AGIE sinker EDM, AGIE CNC wire EDM).
Shenck H60 balancer installed.
2009
Addition of a Metris CMM (coordinate measuring machine) with laser scanning.
2010
Added a steam boiler to further the safety valve program to Section I valves.
2014
GLM completes 250th TB5000/TB5400 overhaul and repair.
2015
GLM adds Siemens/Ruston TA1750 and Tornado (SGT-200) overhaul and repair capabilities.
2016
Thousands of engineered part numbers designed and demonstrated on Solar and Siemens/Ruston gas turbines.
Changes its name to GLM Energy Services with major investments from D’Orazio Capital Partners.
2017
A new 9,000 square feet facility built to house the expanding valve business.
Added a Mazak Variaxis i-700T to expand milling operations.
2018
Acquired Industrial Instrument Service Company (IISCO), to expand offering in instrumentation and calibration lines.
